Kochi-based IT developer Caspian Techparks India Pvt Ltd will establish an IT building on an 81.42-cent land parcel in Technopark Phase 1 campus.
Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark, handed over the Letter of Intent (LoI) for the construction project to Mr Thomas Chacko, MD of Caspian Techparks India, in the presence of Mr Seeram Sambasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary (Electronics & IT), Government of Kerala, in his Chamber at Secretariat.
The LoI is for a land lease for construction and operation of an IT building for managed office spaces and co-working space on the 81.42 cents.


Welcoming the firm on board for the project, Mr Rao said since the company is foraying into the IT sector in the capital city, they can also leverage the emerging opportunities in Technopark Phase-4.
Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) said the firm has been roped in considering their projects using modern technology in Infoparks Phase II campus Kochi. “We expect that their expertise in the sector and rapidity in the completion of projects will reflect in this building also,” he added.
Mr Thomas said the company will submit the building’s unique design, tailored to Technopark’s requirements, within a month, and the project will be executed in 365 days, making it a landmark in Technopark.
